6/10 'Cooking with Sean Roux' #7 featuring the incredible INFLOWENTIAL
has been wrapped and I'd have to say is truly the best yet. Of note the Real Icons project will wrap up the recording side of the album this month. Alisa Turner, King Mez, R.O. Hutch of the famed CrowNCounty, and Ace Hustle all stopped by recently to bless the studio with each of their new tracks. Coming soon is an Iron Chef style cooking video and a local DJ who's plan is to remix a little food in the kitchen...man it is good to be me sometimes. If your interested in being apart of the audience/taste tester club, let me know.

Happy Valentine's Day to all! Ahbleza Sellars brings all of you lovely ladies a special treat in the latest episode of 'Cooking with Sean Roux' #6. He creates some lovely heart shaped brownies for his beautiful lady, while preping a bubble bath.

So many things to have happened since the last update, good and bad. Let's see how about the drug addict breaking into the studio as Conscious and I were wrapping up a photo shoot. Just like the movies man, tazers, cops, blood, and broken gear. No problem though I cleaned up the glass the next morning and finished recording guitars with the extremely gifted Paul Sheeran.

Conscious the architect of mind frame productions delivers another mix tape late 2006 called "recycle". Check out his recently filmed 'Cooking with Sean Roux' Episode #5.

The diverse and extremely gifted 'Artists of Sean Roux.com' line up is now complete. Ahbleza Sellars rounding up the line up wonderfully. With collaborative efforts from Mind Frame Productions and local talent like Bill Corbin, Bertron Curtis, Q-Soul and yes Inflowential, the ep is complete. With a few re-mixes on the way(see Real Icons below), radio play in the U. K. and 'Cooking with Sean Roux' Episode #6 (Valentine Day Special) online....as INFLOW says, "PROGRESS" baby, "PROGRESS".

If you haven't seen already Brad Benson, Ashley River Rising (now Silver) and Ahbleza Sellars all have their albums on itunes, so do ya thang, check out the artists in their full swang.

With the artist line up complete, I know... I know what the your thinking "Sean! When is your album going to be done". The update on that is well as of today two songs have been mixed and about 25 more to go. You see I took on a little more than I should have a little while ago. However such craziness has given birth to a new project called "Real Icons" (Co-Produced by Conscious). It is what we believe has disappeared from a lot of music today, with the production level of mainstream, but with the flow of street and the positive vibe, NO ONE will be able to escape. So yeah, there will be haters... for one reason and one reason only though... they were not apart of the project. As of now the project has 24 artists, yes I just said 24! Its all about quality too, not the quantity. Be on the look out, it is coming soon to a theater near you.

That said, I'll have my album "not without soul" completed by summer and a bonus all acoustic cd as well, straight Roux for you. I know its long overdue but I needed to shine the limelight on the the local talent first. After all, its about respect not the money. Or... Respect first and then maybe some money...hehe....

Also coming soon are new works from Filthy Finesse, Bertron Curtis, Heather Raye and a few other special guests.
