In a world of music that is so varied and diverse; Ahbleza is on the scene as a talent that merges the best of rock, light soul, and R&B & Hip Hop through his distinctive strong voice and smooth guitar playing. Ahbleza, a nineteen year-old artist out of Durham, North Carolina is able to mesmerize crowds with sensual ballads, acoustic driven love songs that touch something deep within every listener, and upbeat club songs that are high energy and full of passion.
Like many successful artists, his musical journey has its roots in the church where he learned the true value of using his God-Given gift to touch others. And those lessons of putting the audience first are clearly evident in the songs that he has written and arranged, and in the passionate delivery of his lyrics. He has had formal vocal training, and learned to speak through his guitar after being inspired by Jazz and Rock and Roll. The scope of his musical journey offers to the world of music what it has long needed, artists like Ahbleza whose natural gifts and passion for music has the ability to touch all who listen. Ahbleza is a Music Education student at Appalachian State University and will be continuing his studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has performed at the Bimbe’ Festival annually since 1998. He has also been a mainstay at the Rythums Festival since 1998. His journey thus far also includes “The Recording Artist” in 2003, at Crossroads Coffee House for multiples appearances in 2003, and he was selected for Best Solo performance at the ICCA competition in 2003. Most recently he appeared at “Gimme the Mike” in June 2004 and performed at Starr Hill Music Hall in Charlottesville, Virginia in September 2004. Ahbleza

that they have never been touched.
